  • James 5: Parting Warnings, Encouragements, and Exhortations

    James 5 KJV

A sermon at church this past week was part of a series on the Book of James.

Our dear Pastor preached on James 5: Parting Warnings, Encouragements, and Exhortations.

The series description included the following:

The epistle of James is a personal, searching, experiential, and practical letter

dealing with both heart and daily lifestyle issues...

    Thought for the week:

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,

    that ye may be healed.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much"

    (James 5:16)

It was an exhortative message that helps us (both rich and poor)

to examine our hearts and daily lives,

to determine if we are living in remembrance of the important things in life:

The Lord and true treasures in Heaven (instead of treasures upon earth),

and in the joyful expectancy of Our Lord Jesus' Second Coming.

May the Lord bless His Sabbath Day of rest tomorrow worldwide.

May God continue to 'speak' to many dear souls through His Spirit and Word,

and give all His people the grace to 'hear' with spiritual ears and do His Will.
