Sunday Vignettes

I wore the nosewarmer to church.  Yes, I did.

I've actually had some people request one.  Which is mildly astonishing.  But, I guess, if any of you out there really want one, e-mail me.  I'll have to ask you to send me a couple bucks (PayPal is fine) to help with postage, but I'll do it.  Of course, if you're going to get all picky about color, I'm going to ask for a few bucks more, since I only have a couple colors of scrap yarn right now.  When I get a job, I won't be nearly this persnickety about money.

I learned during coffee hour that my nosewarmer also serves nicely as a donut hole holder and slingshot.

I've been listening to a fair bit of Sondheim lately.  Specifically A Little Night Music.  Not sure why.  But probably my favorite line:

"She'd strike you as unenlightened."

"No, I'd strike her first."

Several people have mentioned parallels between A Thousand Acres and King Lear.  But I haven't read King Lear, so they're pretty much lost on me.

And, on a completely unrelated note...*yawn*

I just bought the Sondheim DVD collection.  It's like buying God in a box.

Yikes! I was just looking through the blue Edgewater Presby directory and I found a familiar name I never wanted to hear again... Tim Zuverink.  Have you met him?

Cute...quite similar to a little bird beek!  Or a tassle...I don't know, but I bet it keeps your nose warm!

Since you haven't read King Lear, imagine parallels between A Thousand Acres and Akira Kurosawa's "Ran", except with fewer dismemberments and rivers of blood.
