'Cause I'm a Bloggin' Fool

A few more notes for the day:

I've started reading Eragon, that big-deal fantasy book that was published a couple years ago and everyone went mad over because the author was like this 17-year-old kid in Montana or something.  I'm not too far into it yet, but it seems a bit contrived.  We'll see.

Brad Bird won an Annie award for voice-acting!  He was the director for The Incredibles, and also the voice of Edna Mode, my favorite character.  In case you don't know, the Annies are essentially the Animated Oscars.  Or maybe it would be better to call them the Animated Golden Globes, since they cover TV, too.  And, despite the bad press regarding his sexuality, Spongebob Squarepants still managed to snag a few awards, as well.

Has Desperate Housewives officially moved to Sundays at 10/9??  What about Boston...whatever?  I was going to call it Boston Public till I realized that was wrong.  That show seemed to be doing reasonably well.  I hadn't started watched it yet, but I'm thinking about it.

Also in TV, is there really all that much difference between Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition: How'd They Do That??  Also, carpenter guy (Ty?) was hot when he was on Trading Spaces, but now he's just annoying and funny-looking.

Using one part knowledge and one part hunch, I decided to conduct a little experiment in the kitchen this evening.  I have now created a chocolate cream cheese frosting.  This will go on the cake I'm baking later this week.  *sigh*  I guess it's a good thing I don't have a boyfriend for Valentine's Day - he'd be spoiled rotten!  And, I think it's pretty much established that anyone who ends up with me must possess one of two qualities:

1) he must have a ridiculously high metabolism, or

2) he must look cute chubby.

One thing I noticed at the Episcopal service this morning was the church calendar.  There are community groups that meet at the church, of course.  There is AA (which struck me as odd, since an AA group also meets at the Presbyterian church two blocks away), and NA.  There is also CA, but I couldn't figure out what that stood for.  "Cigarettes Anonymous" doesn't seem right, and I honestly can't imagine "Chocoholics Anonymous."  So, until someone enlightens me, I'm settling for "Crackwhores Anonymous."

K.  I'm pretty sure that's all till tomorrow.  Be good!

If I'd been a 17-year-old kid in Montana, I'd have already published a best-selling, critically-acclaimed series by now.

Desperate Housewives was shown at a special time tonight.

What's NA? Nymphos Anonymous? CA stands for Christ, Anchovies! I didn't order anchovies.

Isn't CA cocaine anonymous?  (although that sounds substantially like crackwhores anonymous i guess...)
