A Good Beginning

The week has started out extraordinarily well.  I've won the football pool at work (guessing the winning team for ALL 14 NFL games, thankyouverymuch; it won't happen again!).  Work went fairly well yesterday, and I'm being remarkably productive on my day off.

Tomorrow is Chris .  I plan to use my football pool earnings ($46) to buy dinner.

No major crises in sight for the week.  Nothing serious going on this weekend, except a call home to wish my father a happy 61st.  It still freaks me out that he's that far along, especially since my mother just turned 44.  And my sister hits 22 on Thursday.  Then birthday season is over until March.  Hoorah!  I fully endorse a family where no one is born within two months of Christmas.  Of course, Chris is a Scorpio, but I can always make an exception.

Oh!  I've got to go to Target for a baby shower next week...but other than that, things are groovy.
