Taking the Hint

So, I've not heard from Chris since Wednesday.  I've left about three voice-mails for him, and he has not responded.

I'm not much experienced in the love department, but I have a pretty good idea what this means.

I am rather disappointed, I have to admit.  And I really wish that he could have delivered this message to me in a conversation rather than in a lack of conversation.  At least that way I could delude myself with the faint hope that we might at least maintain a friendship.  Hey - I've done it before.

I will call him tomorrow, and I will call him Wednesday.  Should I make it to that one-week mark without hearing from him, then I shall acknowledge that what seemed like a good thing is over.

Problem is, I won't know why.

But, surely I am worth a phone call???
