| | Martha gave me highlights today. Jerry says it looks okay, so I'm sure I'll be fine with it by tomorrow. I liked it initially, then I started to get a little freaked by it. Just because I don't take well to semi-drastic changes in my personal appearance.
In other news, I've finally had some serious success in purging. I have talked for over a year about "purging" some of the junk in my apartment, and this weekend, I've had some serious success! I've set foot in places that I haven't set foot since I moved into the place two years ago. It's kinda exciting.
Three shopping days left before my birthday.
I have a vague memory of a spring-like week. Then suddenly, this weekend, summer weather bitch-slapped us. I like Spring. Maybe we'll get a few more cool days in before summer starts earnestly.
I've moved on to The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman. It's the second book in the His Dark Materials Trilogy. During parts, you can tell that Pullman is an atheist. The second book is going a little slowly, but it's still a fairly interesting read. I think I can have it finished by my birthday.
Damn, I'm boring... |
