I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, or, I'm Up to My Ears in Republicans

Well, I'm safely in Florida.  It's been a crazy week since my last post.  I feel like there's a lot to say about events before I left, and also plenty to say about the trip itself, and initial reactions now that I'm here.

But it's also really late and I'm really tired.  Hopefully tomorrow I'll have an opportunity to say more.
