i had such a grreeeeaaaaaattt day!omg.. im so tired now... lol
yes, from reading the title, I JUST came bak.... im now eating 7-11 fast food stuff... (HAHAHA my parents suddenly called and ditched me for dinner... aiii.. oh well... :( eating in front of the computer and loading pics arent always THAT bad... afterall, i am TIRED...)
so, as smelly wendy (i mean it!!!! its beeeeeeen a HOT HOT day, according to Martin, he said it was 34 degrees today!) eating her very unhealthy dinner, she'll tell u all abt what she did for today :P
i was so excited last nite (lol some ppl must be rolling their eyes, thinking "omg, wendy is gonna start her story from LAST NIGHT?! when will this end?!" HAHAHA wait till u see those pics... i think thers 200+ LOL) i couldnt really sleep well..... i woke up REALLY early and looking forward to today's trip...
i was 15 mins early (btw, i went with salina's family... lol as salina said, "yay! i got a new sis") and there were SO MANY ppl in the MTR station already (FYI - MTR = HK's subway system) ... i was getting worried coz today was super sunny and it would suck big time if we had to wait in long lineups.....
we finally got there and the first thing we did? (no, not taking pics... thats already been done :P) we went straight to grab some maps and started our "perfect plan" so that we can have a "smmooooth, yet fun, day"....
after grabbing the map, we (salina, me, salina's mom and dad) all agreed to take the cable car and went to the highland first (FYI - theres headland -- where u need to take cable car / bus to get there and theres a lowland, where the main entrance is)
what did we do after we went to headland? HAHAHAHAHHAHA we rode on the coolest roller coaster of cuz! (take a look of those pics... its hilarious) at the end of the roller coaster, they were suppose to take a pic of us.. see me? i had the time to go "V" on the pic, while salina was looking somewhere else LOL HAHAHAHHAA :P
after the roller coaster, we were thinking of having an early lunch (it was already 11 ish), so salina's parents went to grab good seats @ Ocean Park's Terrace -- A REALLY REALLY REALLLY good resturant (omg, must see pics for those food.... i insist of paying bak, but of cuz... sigh... thanks salina and her parents!!!! :D)
while salina's parents went to grab seats in that resturant, me and salina went to the shark aquarium.... ooooooooh..... since it was so hot out, that place TURNS ON THE A/C SO FREAKEN HIGH POWERED both me and salina didn’t want to leave lol HAHAHAA
after that yummy lunch, we were suppose to go to see those jelly fish (new attraction @ ocean park), but there was a HUGE line up.. im not kiddn... i dun even know where those ppl came from... it seems like they just came out of nowhere, all wanting to see those jelly fish... ><;;; but thanks to salina's parents, they said they will save seats for us (poor parents, have to wait in line, while her daughter and her friend get to go see the atoll reef)
atoll reef -- a 4 level fish aquarium... is...err...... SCARY.... not only is it PACKED with ppl - with limited A/C... i finally understand what claustrophobic feels like... i was never so scared in an encolsed space before.. but that aquarium.. aiya.. filled with the smell of sweat, its dark and the fish... those fish... they were HUGE.... i was so scared.. i ran out of that aquarium, >< i had to push those ppl away... aiya... :'(
after that scary “adventure”, salina’s parents called and said “QUICK QUICK, 2 more mins and we can get into the sea jelly spectacular!!!!” EEK! The atoll reef isn’t AS close as we thought it would be and there were SO MANY PPL (take a look at the pic where there were TONS of umbrella)
me and salina RAAAAAAANNNNNN and *whew* thank god we got to her parents before they went in… but I gotta say, that sea jelly thing was SOOOOOO good… look at those pics… its like they are some kind of aliens LOL and they change colours too! Wowowowowoow J
after the sea jelly spectacular, we went to the Japanese garden… since it was so hot, we had to rest a bit… that place is sooooooo good… coz its in the shade, so it was cool afterall… sigh~
since the shark aquarium is next to the Japanese garden.. guess what we did? HAHAHA YEP, salina’s parents also went in this time to get some A/C LOL HAHAHAHAA
the ocean theatre (FYI – a place where they have seals and dolphins playing a show for u) had a show @ 2:30…. It was 1:45 by the time we got there… IT WAS PACKED FULL… NO SPACE WHATSOEVER.. aiii.. so, we had to go to the pacific pier instead and watched some baby seals… apparently, if u want to feed them, u have to pay $25… of cuz we didn’t la. I rather get a line that says “feed wendy, pay $25” HAHAHAHAHHA
btw, something cute happened in pacific pier… a guy was in the lower level (the water level) and he dropped a coin, the baby seal thought it was fish so he swam soooo close and when the guy goes “circle” with his hands – along with the coin, the seal also swam in a circular motion! It was sooooooooo cool!!! (but salina said loudly “omg. poor seal, being tricked like that” LOL)
after pacific pier, we ran as fast as we can to the ocean theatre to catch the next show (at 3:30)… salina parents were so kind, they bought me yummy ice cream! HAHAHHA
the ocean theatre show was definitely worth the wait… (although there were many ppl who pushed and scream to get seats… sigh…) oh oh oh, I have so many videos with those really cute dolphins and seals… so if u want to see them, lemme know! :D
after playing @ headland, we took the bus down to lowland (we HAD to take the bus coz the cable car was soooooooooooooooooo full with tourists)
me and salina then went to see the “Whisker’s wild ride” . omg. What a surprise! It was sooo much fun… basically its where u sit in a seat (with seatbelts) and u go on an adventure while the chair moves!!!!
After that ride, we went to see the famous “an an” and “kai kai” (FYI – an an and kai kai are famous pandas in ocean park, an an is a guy and kai kai is the girl)
They were soooooooooooo lazy!!! (LOL 41% = sleep, 55%= eat, 4% = others… doesn’t this sounds familiar?! Lol it seems like im a panda also HAHAHAHHAHAHA)
After panda-seeing, it was time to leave :’( I said lots of thanks to salina and her parents and went home (hoping my parents were gonna eat dinner with me… I was soooo tired already, didn’t want to cook)… unfortunately, I got ditched… so here I am, eating my 7-11 dinner and im off to take a shower (ugh… smelly smelly) and gonna cook another instant noodle afterwards LOL!!!
