Well if they were all as awesome as me, you'd like those people.
ryc: well, I'm actually still reading both of those books right now... I often keep multiple reads going... so, if I gave a recommendation, it woudln't be quite fair... and I take giving recommendations pretty seriously. That said, I think it's probably worth the read.

ryc: yes, I have. well written in many ways, but a few holes, and faulty research drag it down. If read uncritically, it seems amazing... but he doesn't document most "facts" and those he does are taken from jewish literature compiled long after the time of jesus. I love his writing style and communicating ability, i just wish he was more sound.
