Dear Parents!

This is the week! I'm so excited to meet with you all this coming Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! We are preparing some special things for you when you come visit our class. We have been doing so many neat things in Kindergarten we are excited to show you!

This week we are studying the letter T sound! I hope to put the lyrics of all our Alphabet songs on the School Website soon so that you can sing them along with your son or daughter! This week's Nursery Rhyme is Mary Had a little Lamb. There is a nice tune that goes along with this rhyme that most of your children know already so it will be easy to practice with them!

This week we are also focusing on Fall! We will be discussing how the weather is changing and how the clothes we wear during this season change also. This Friday we are going to make leaf rubbings (so that our tree in the hall looks like a fall tree). Please collect some fall leaves with your children this week and bring them to school. We will also be using these leaves for a sorting activity in math class on Friday.

Thank you to all the parents who brought in a various assortment of boxes, tubes and supplies for our pets. We have an amazing collection of pets in our classroom now! I hope Myrtle our Turtle doesn't get jealous. We hope to have a Pet Show to talk about and display our pets on Friday. You will get to see our lovely pets during conferences this week!

This week Tiger is in charge of snacks and he is also our Student of the Week! We are excited to get to know our newest student a little better.
