It is about 11:am and we are stuck in Laramie, WY due to the fact that they closed I-80. We have reserved a room at Super 8 but we cannot check in until 1:pm. They are saying it could be closed until Monday, but Chris says there may be a small window at about 5:am tomorrow when they may open it for a short time. Thankfully, Super 8 didn't know that I-80 was closed and so we got their regular off peak rate of 55.00 per night. I am so glad we got here when we did. Pray for us that we use wisdom on when we should try to make the rest of this trip. God is good, and he has our back. They closed I-80 just 15 minutes before we got here. Imagine what would have happened if we had gotten her just 20 minutes earlier.

Closed for repairs? snow? ice?
Blizzard Conditions, new snow and 70 mile an hour winds. Could be Sunday before we get out of here, but we are hoping there will be a window of opportunity sometime tomorrow to pass over the continental divide. God knows what is best, and I am just glad we didn't get out there before they shut it down as that could have been bad.
Just don't forget to use common sense! ROFL! (We got one of those calls today too - because Chip is in Peoria for the day and driving back in this blizzardy snow). Praying y'all make it to your new hometown soon!
Common Sense, that is a very deep subject, I am pondering it even as I type, what is common sense, and is common sense always the best. Common meaning normal or expected, sense meaning what a person senses is right or wrong or just grey, I want to keep God's sense as His sense is be most perfect, and common sense is based on man's sense. Things that make you go "hhhhhmmmmm" Ok, now let's be serious, I have lived 38 soon to be 39 years, and I think I am pretty sensible and sometimes to a fault, as I miss out on what God wants because I am afraid it doesn't make sense. Ok, overall, common sense is something I do try to use as long as it doesn't hinder what God is trying to do in my life. Just thought I would just expound on my thoughts and none of it is meant to be taken completely seriously!
