This is a non-Lin but kinda Lin-related post so you don't have to read it it you don't want to.
I have a friend, he's also the singer for one of my very favourite bands. About 3 years ago his band broke up because of some stupid childish shit between him and his guitarist, who had been his best friend for many years. Myself and other friends of the band, and countless numbers of fans around the world were pretty upset about this turn of events. Just before and after the break-up, and to this very day that guitarist started, and continues to spread lies and general rubbish about my friend, and to a lesser degree his other 2 former bandmates and some people in and around the band. My friend was pretty damn bummed for well over a year about this, writing alot of great materiel in the process. He did try and defend himself, admitted his shortcomings and apologized for his end of the problems, but to no avail as his ex-bandmate/buddy kept jabbing and poking...just wouldn't let it go!! Finally, one day he just said FUCK IT and got back together with the band, the bassist took over guitar duties and they got a new bassist to fill his spot. And Voila, Fear Factory was reborn
. They went in the studio almost immediately and started working on their newest album, 'Archetype', which has attained platinum status in the 6 months its been out, and which has been hailed by many as the band's best album to date. Here are the lyrics to one particular song off of Archetype, it's called 'Cyberwaste'. I think you'll see why it has particular relevence to my current situation. Following it is a scan of my autographed 8x10 glossy of my friend Burt, author of the song lyrics and singer of the band. I know this type of music is not everyone's cup of tea, and I swear to you that he is not normally this angry, lol. Thanks for reading, this means alot to me
