  • Sorry I haven't written anything about the Halloween event 'til now,  but quite frankly I really don't have much to write about it...I got absolute PISS for drops and died 3 more times doing it, bringing my death total at 49 to 5 in less than 1 week. I absolutely and completely used every adena  for the last buyback, I even had to sell some really dumb stuff to the shop like gems, haste pots and escape scrolls to be able to afford it -.-

    But having said that at least I didn't delevel (*knocks on wood*) like A LOT of ppl I know, and I am slowly managing to gain some money back by using the pumpkin sweets I gathered  in place of healing pots, haste pots & wafers, plus the mana restoring pots are a fucking godsend...wish they'd put them in-game permanently.

    I didn't get anything of real interest during the event, it seems that almost every boss I killed  gave me candy, adena, or nothing at all. The few things I got are as follows: Demon gloves, 2 ndai, a SSN, an old dex ammy, a plate mail, 2 CMOMR's, a maple wand, countless numbers of pine wands and (not that it counts as an event drop) a bdai from a dragonfly.  Reci gave me a str ammy and an ndai, plus the use of his +7rap...Bannefin gave me an old belt of soul, Nocturnally gave me another maple wand, and my brother also gave me an old belt of soul as well as a regular belt of soul. My thanks to Ludakris for the 200+ wafer candies he gave me...gotta love the elf-crack!!

    Overall I think it was a GREAT event, much better than the last few we've had,  rivaling the legendary Heine event of a couple years ago in drops, attendance, and the sheer assholish nature of a lot of ppl. I really must comment on the  nastiness of a lot of ppl that event greed brought out. That is part of the reason I didn't get many drops...assholes were too busy stealing my mops and drops as well as getting all their own on top of it. There were SO many ppl doing this in SKT alone that I said fuck it and went elseware before I went chaotic on top of already having died because some idiot attacked a green Varlok just up from me while I was engaged with a white one just below.
    ALL common courtesies, politeness, and comraderie seemed to have been almost completely abandoned  in light of potentially getting a 'good' drop.  Well I hope all you ppl who acted like asses and  who now hoard a multitude of a-scrolls, eva shields, demon suits, tsurugis, enchant scrolls, belts, etc.  feel REAL good about yourselves...because I  remember most of the names I saw doing this, and I will not forget them any time soon, you stupid, greedy, motherfuckers.

    Well, FV drops seem to be back to normal, and the spawn rate there last night was awesome. I got an nzel each from back to back tauvs at one point this morning, as well as a few hunters bows and 2 handed swords from archers & golems. So hopefully I'll be able to make up my lost exp and some money in the next week or so, and continue on my painfully slow trek to level 50. 
    GL in-game to all my friends & pledgemates (except for 1, you need to apologize buddy!), all the event assholes can go get bent!
