| | This morning was the last Missions Focus of the Year. It has been my deep privilege and honor to be the one to facilitate this weekly event throughout the last year. It has been a year I'll never with a team I'll always hold dear. Next year, one of my greatest friends in the world, Sean Kelly will be taking his rightful place at the helm of the Global Missions Awareness Movement here at the Rockford Master's Commission once again. While I have no regrets or reservations on handing over the reigns to Sean, today was still a melancholy affair. There was, of course, the jubilation of finishing well... but I don't know that I'll ever stand in the study center as the "Falls" (From The Mission) play and watch the students with a mixed looks of apprehension and expectation come into the room. I don't know that I'll ever ring the bell to set loose a wave of prayer. I don't know if I'll ever have as tight a team of individuals who are so devoted to do their very best for me, and ultimately for God. It's been a long, hard, good day...and year.
