Don't Dream It's Over
SPAIN WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really really tired now so I'm gonna sleep after writing this entry. But anway the match was awesome!! I was up working on nothing in particular, reading physics SPA notes (but not fully concentrating), all the way til 2.30am when Gabriella messaged me and asked me to watch the closing ceremony because apparently some balloon thingie was really cute, so I turned it on and omg, it was so funny! Haha. Enrique Iglesias performed too. I can't stand him. Apparently his dad used to be a pretty famous goalkeeper. The match was good. Germany started well, Spain started crappy and my heart was beating so fast! I remember saying to my sister after 11 minutes, if Spain continue to play that way, Germany will win. Anyway the sexy spaniards (and their far from sexy coach) must've heard me because they started picking up the pace. (: And they did really well! Spain played so so good. (: Michael Ballack was less than inspiring for the Germans. Sometimes, I swear, I wanna punch his arrogant face. Fernando Torres was awesome. and sexy too. HE SCORED!! I was elated!!! FERNANDO TORRES!! The guy whom I named a blog after. I still remember the awesome present Leanne and Sophia and Kaitlyn gave me for my 15th birthday, the photo album they created of pictures of me and fernando together. OMG. And the camera kept shifting to the Spanish bench, and I saw poor injured David Villa. Top scorer of the this year's championships. (: and Casillas was very reliable, made like no mistakes! Not the same can be said about Lehmann though. And Spain could've scored more, there were some pretty unlucky misses. Omg during the closing stages of the game I was so scared that it'd go to extra time, because the German balls (no pun intended) were pulverizing the Spanish goal and I was so afraid that they would score. And I really didn't want it to go to penalties because, well, Spain suck at it and the Germans rock hard at penalties. But Spain held on in the end. SO HAPPY. I was falling asleep throughout the match, but thankfully the exciting football kept me awake. I slept during half time, haha. But after the match I was too excited and elated and high to sleep, even though I was yawning half the time. WOOHOO. (:
Slept for a couple of hours, was supposed to reach school by 830 to meet ahem some idiot (aka keith chnioh) who didn't know what to do for physics spa and wanted my notes. Anyway both of us overslept haha. And so we pushed the time back to like 915. And I fell asleep again. On the couch! Haha and in the car. Anyway at least my mom was taking me to school, so I didn't have to walk one big round. The side gate was closed already. At least I didn't have to write my name down in the latecomers book. But then again, I wouldn't have been a latecomer anyway, since I was supposed to report by 930 and was in fact EARLY. But my classmates said that a few of them had to write their names down. Ah well.
Physics SPA was easy. I kinda prefer SPA over the old practical, because if we screw one up we can kinda compensate for it, because we're assessed so many times, but for the O Level one-shot one, you're screwed if you screw it. Does that make sense?
And I got my chinese VA today!! THANKS LIWEN YOU ARE AWESOME. Haha. Woohoo. It's due like next tuesday so I have some time to type it out nicely, print it and decorate it. (: yay.
So left school, went to town with Leena and Liwen and Leena pangsei-ed us!! We were like...huh. Okay. We went to Wheelock, and I got stopped at Borders because the stupid security alarm system thingie went off. Turned out to be my wallet. So they demagnetised it. THANK YOU BORDERS SECURITY GUARD. Went to eat lunch at NYDC. and I ran into CHARLOTTE AND ALMAS AND ALEX!! Haha charlotte and almas. And omg the first thing almas said was "OMG VANESSA!!!" and the second thing was "SPAIN WON!!!!!!" hahaha. woohoo spain and fernando torres.
Went home after that and I fell asleep on my bed for FOUR HOURS. I didn't draw the curtains so when I woke up it was really bright, the light coming from outside and everything, and I went "OMG did I sleep through the whole night"? Haha so funny. Then my first instinct was to reach up and touch my eyeball to see if my contacts were still there. And they were. And I looked at the clock and it was like 6-something pm and I was like OOHHHH.
Okay I'm gonna go now because I need sleep, but I'm gonna leave y'all with awesome pictures!
