110 4-life!

i remember those...i think.

the black one with the fold-down handle was my first camera to own. 

my grandma let me have it... but only if I promised to take care of it.

i totally had a 110 camera!  oh the summer camp memories...

one time my parents bought us each one of those for a christmas gift while they were at the grocery store. a blue one for me and a purple one for my dear sis. the year was nineteen and eighty-five. she accidently forgot to hide them and i discovered them while helping unload the cheerios and poptarts that night. when i realized i had ruined not only my own surprise, but also my sister's, i burst into tears.

thats how much i love surprises.

I too had a 110 camera...I had a detatachable flash though, MAN I was cool in the 80s...I even worked in a photo lab (in college) and my favorite to develop was the 110 cuz they were sooooo small...too cute.

but, grant, why do you collect cameras?  a bit strange...a...bit....strange.
