Xanga:
Verb: Pronounced Zane-Guh
1.A social networking site created to share weblogs in a web-based community.
2. Used mainly by exceptionally awesome ninja gangsters.
3.May also be used as a verb "Im totally going to xanga myself to sleep!"
Ah, the wonderful world of Xanga. So many blogs, so little time.
I hemorrhage words at all hours of the day and night, finding a minute here or there to jot down some long lost memory onto a piece of notebook paper i keep by my bed. I write at least ten times a day, for a million different reasons, some of them financial gain, some of them cathartic stress relief, some of them sheer boredom or restlessness.
I use writing to disinfect my life, so that when I talk I don't purge useless information. I use xanga to garner feedback on my writing and to discuss with like-minded individuals certain areas of improvement. I have made friends, some life-long and some in passing, but I have always met interesting and new people that I would have no other way of knowing.
My writing is vivification of my motives in life, my goals and aspirations.
My xanga is a way to express myself, without the negativity of reality getting in the way.
So tell me, Why do you Xanga?

o and thanx for subscribing :)@bondiblue - absolutely! If you like what you read, please leave me some stars next time!
Need something to do at work.
Nah... I used to keep a web-page, even coding my own HTML.... this is easier and the content is about the same.
Yeah reality can really bo things down someimes can't it.
Because I always wanted to see what blogging was all about. Xanga was the first blog site I heard about.
I used it to write about different things and I like reading any feedback I might get from Xangans.
its a place i can complain about anything and everything, if i need to... but for the most part its a place to procrastinate while i avoid doing homework and other responsible things/a place to escape from reality...
It's a place to have all of my own, doesn't have to be run by the hubby or family (even tho I talk about them enough!) and I meet, like you said, interesting new people! Wish I could Xanga more!!!
I think it is fun. It is a great way to publish what I'm thinking without doing any work to actually publish what I'm thinking. I also like reading what other's are thinking. I like comments and commenting. I zanguh cuz it's fun to zanguh!
Oooh vivification ... :D
I blog because I like to keep a memory of myself - how I was in the past compared to how I am in the present. I also have tons of snippets of short stories and other small globs of words that represent spurts of verbal creativity hiding within my blog, marked as "private," that serve to satiate my urge to write. :)
I made my xanga account cause i wanted to share to ppl how i felt on certain topics that my friends couldn't get, i guess. Alright...well that was the second idea...the orignal idea was to share my writing with ppl. I knew this was the one website that none of my friends had an account on...so no one would know it was me. =D jokes.
i do it cause it's fun and i can see how other people write and i can also learn things.. and of course meet cool people..
I do because you made me, but thanks!
why?....it's a compulsion. I see what's going on in the world, and I just have to say something about it. plus, it's fun.
I xanga because it's easier to have actual conversations with multiple people than with other networking sites. Also, I use it to update my friends on what's going on in my life and post my artwork.
i gotta let my thoughts out somehow :]
I wanted debate and conversation. After the death of my parents, it became more of an outlet ...company. Now I find myself among others who feel the same way I do at times. It is a great outlet for me w/o being judged or trying too hard to impress.
Mostly catharsis. Maybe I'll go back and read through older entries at some point. Also a good way to kill time.
It gives me a place to rant without causing a scene.
you're welcome
Ohh, you got a new account.
Xanga...I use it as a journal to help sort out my thoughts. Also, the feedback I get have been very useful.
for the credits. yeehaw!
It's fun. It's something to do. It's a good way to express myself.
RYC: Thought about it? Yes, definately, but I've never been given the chance.
