If you placed an ad in the personals, what would it read?
Smart, warm, compassionate woman seeking man to fulfill all her desires. He must like to stay at home and clean the house spotless as she goes fishing. He must insist on buying diamonds for every discretion imagineable (You forgot to get the milk! SOB) Man can never lose a sexy wasitline, or the ability to have sex for hours on end, sometimes in public. Must only have eyes for me, and must answer every question by starting with "The more you say honey, the smarter I think you are."

Ewww... diamonds. Nothing like faceted compressed carbon bought at the price of human suffering. Ever since watching Blood Diamond, there's no way I could ever accept a diamond as a gift unless I can be absolutely sure it's cruelty-free.
I'm not usually an activist, but this is something I feel passionately about. Even as a vegetarian, I am just fine being at the top of the food chain. (I do it for my health, not for the animals. Humans are quite another matter, though.)
I was thinking about your "ad" this morning when I was supposed to be thinking about something else...and I laughed some more. Maybe I was thinking of it because it's "hump day". I've had a busy, but productive day. The only thing left on my To Do list is my Hubby.

they make diamonds in labs now. Completely flawless, and bloodless. I like those, and they are cheaper.
