| | Well, I am almost moved into my new place. The truck carrying the boxes of all my personal stuff and clothes is due to arrive tomorrow. Many things have changed in my life in the last few days. Some of them pleasant, most rather distressing. I have had a rather severe problem with a stomach virus that caused all kinds of other problems. But that is apparently over. I do have a hairline fracture of my left ankle. Though I can move around, I am moving slower and I have to take much care in so doing. I am looking forward to my new life. Meeting new people, making new friends that hopefully will be around a long time. Believe me, I do need some new friends about now. My support group is virtually non existent at the moment and so I look forward to new relationships. I am referring to friendships. Romantic relationships evidently are just not in my future it seems. I have been so unlucky with guys, I am going to try girls again. Maybe I am straight after all!! But enough of the pitty party! Life holds many challenges and I think some great things to come. I do not know how often I will be updating Xanga. I wish I could say often, but I don't know if I will do that. Hopefully, my internet life is drawing to a close. Xanga and Myspace were fun, but in the end, caused disappointment. So, it is back to the normal life of a 22 year old in doctoral school. That means mostly hard work, much study, and hopefully a time of healing. This post is not meant to generate comments. It is more of a thinking outloud and notice to my friends online of how I feel at the moment. So, feedback is unnecesarry. The next posting will be more positive and maybe I will have something interesting to say. Later guys........~~trey~~ |
