my new camera lcd screen cracked.  warranty won't cover it. have to pay about 500 to fix it. and it's only 1 month old!!!!  so sad.

the da vinci code is mind blowing! i could not put it down! read it in 2 days!  (ok... it is fucking impossible to read ANY book in 1 hour )
i went all out and bought the illustrated edition.
it was really really good. better than i expected.  i actually turned down scrabble to sit at home all by my lonesome self to read.
you shouldn't get too into it though. if you read it, that is. some people read it and take it like super seriously. they tend to forget that it's only a novel.i made that mistake. halfway through the book i was utterly dumbfounded. people kept telling me how controversial it was.... how it made people's faith falter.... how its so thoroughly detailed and researched...bla bla bla. then realised i was just being stupid. it's just a novel.
but if you're highly sensitive religiously, i don't recommend you read it.
i really like this one phrase from the book.

'What is history, but a fable agreed upon? By its very nature, history is always a one-sided account'

my air con is freezing today. must be from all that rain.

i came across this. quite interesting.
