  • SATURDAY, JUNE 21

My mom’s friend/old classmate met us at my grandma’s house. We went to Ikari Coffee for lunch. They have pretty good food, but the serving sizes were quite small so I had to order two. It was also a hot hangout place, as the place was pretty much packed. You see a lot of children and teens on the streets too since it’s the weekend ;D  Later that day, we took the MRT (subway) from Xiaonanmen to Zhonghua Dong Rd. to meet up with my uncle and aunt. We took the taxi to Taipei 101. The last time I went there, they were still partially open and under construction, so it was my first time seeing it completely finished. They have so many upscale shops there, but it would probably be not worth buying stuff there since I can get them back in U.S. We took the taxi (dude, we finally found a female taxi driver!) to Din Tai Fung for dinner. The food is familiar since I go to the one in Arcadia back home a few times each month. After dinner, we went to Carrefour again to buy food and things for the new house. I can’t wait for my cousin to get off school tomorrow so she can take me around!

  • Hello ^^
This is Yvonne. The MRT! Public transportation is so nice huh? And taxi. In Taiwan it's more common to take the taxi than to drive your own car probably xD
