today was one of the most interesting days ive had.  why?  i learned where the phrases 'hillbilly' and 'its could enough the freeze balls off a brass monkey' come from.  the latter i hadnt heard before today, but damian (the english teacher from ireland who explained the meanings of both phrases) said its often used back in ireland.  upon my return to america, i plan to bring this phrase into frequent useage.

i had the intention of writing out the origins, but now i have to go to the store and buy food (upon my host parents insistance) for the plane ride to nagasaki tomarrow.

oh man, ive already started using that phrase. i red it today at lunch time and everyone in my homeroom was wondering why i suddenly broke out in laughter after reading something on the computer screen. then all my friends sort of gathered around and asked me to explain it and everything but after I mentioned the word Kintama they didnt want to know the meaning anymore. oh man that was some funny shit.

have fun in Kyushu, im going there on the 18th for like 1 or 2 days. its official as of today. anyway, later

I killed a man yesterday. His name was Jordan; he pleaded for his life to the end, but I slashed his throat in half, then proceeded to eviscerate his soul and carry on with everyday activities. Sounds like you're having a good time in Japan, so best of luck to you, and don't step into any lava traps. I'm being serious about those lava traps man. They'll get you.
