It details the contract Governor Perry has already signed (without
citizen input or public vote) with a foreign corporation to build a
12-lane Toll Road through Texas via I-35. The land required for it will
be taken by eminent domain and will include farm land, burial
grounds and private residential and commerical land. It will
completely abolish the Mexican border. It will create further pollution
and worsen the hot temperatures we are already experiencing with the
cement used to pave the road.

Access will be via destination points, with no feeder roads,
so businesses along the Toll Road will diminish and eventually close
(further damaging our economy).

Although it is under the guise of transportation, no better, cleaner
methods were explored, like rail. This is strictly a political deal -
it is across party lines and and in no way benefits Texans.

We must contact Governor Perry via: EMAIL, PHONE CALLS AND SNAIL-MAIL
to cancel this contract immediately! His ability to proceed with this
is completely due to the complete lack of knowledge on the part of
Texans. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AND TAKE ACTION NOW to let him know we
don't want this and won't tolerate it! It was a sneaky deal made to
benefit only a select few!
