RICH, RICH, I'M RICH!!

As I discussed before, those checks are rolling in. Working at Walmart I could set my watch AND calendar by how the general local public shops.

By the 3rd of each month the LoneStar Card(food stamps), WIC and Social Security comes rolling in and the first place they head is Wally World! Now that the government checks are now beginning to arrive, the lemmings are going nuts!

I refer to our shoppers as lemmings because the little creatures will follow the first, tenth and one-millionth ahead them off that cliff. If you have ever worked in retail you will understand. Buy 'stuff' you don't need or truly want but it's ' ON SALE' or it's the newest thing out. Walmart has a tendency to raise all thier prices, send out notices to MSN and AP that they're lowering their prices by 30%. In actuality, they just lower it to the original price which was too high in the first place!

But here comes those government check holders all ready to do the bidding of Senor Shrub and the government. My lands people, spend on what you need, not what you want and put the rest in your savings account AND don't touch it! This isn't the lottery! You act like the government is handing you out a freebie! This is actually your money...I hate to be a party-pooper but use it wisely.

Personally, I plan to spend ours on...

1)School supplies

2)Jeans and shoes for the girls

3)A new stove since mine went belly up last December

and then into the loving arms of our savings account. And not to touch it!

Of course I'm one of those moms who..

1)Homeschool

2)Recycle baggies,plastic bottles and alum. cans

3)Bake GF bread

4)Make my own laundry soap

5)Make my own shampoo/conditioner/body wash,etc

6)Grows a veggie and herb garden because I refuse to pay the prices at the grocery just for the fuel it took to get it there!

7)In general, I'm an old hippie.
