  before the storm

  here i stand before the storm

  feeling the wind rake through my hair

  drowning in the roar of thunder

  seeing the lightning strike the air

   

  here i lie in subtle silence

  listening to the falling rain

  pouring out it's agony 

  streaking my window pane

   

  here i sit with outstretched arms

  embracing the cleansing dawn

  each dew drop left from torrent

  now sparkling in the sun

   

  here i am in darkness

  for the eye of storm has passed

  and now here comes the rain again

  hope disappears so fast...
