Determined to "Survive"

Finding the strength within your Self is an accomplishment that
makes a difference in your life...for the rest of your life!

Having taken the steps to do so has made a difference in many
peoples lives!

It is the confidence to do so that we have found to be the most
difficult part of this lesson.

So, let me tell you a story....

It is about being determined to "Survive"...

There was a woman who had found herself living life....
Not to the fullest..but she thought she was doing what
was best for all around her.

She was married to a man whom she had known as a teenager. She
married him during a time when she was still maturing herself. Having never been given any guidance on what it takes to be "True" to herself, she did what many people (both men and women) and felt she was running out of time in her life and should accept the person directly in front of her as her "partner in life".

He became an abusive drunk and
would mentally abuse her constantly.

Unfortunately - she brought children into this world praying
that "it would get better".

After 5 children...and many broken pieces of furniture....
she divorced him.

She met a man...younger...with what she thought
were "good work ethics" and married him. They had a child. He was unable to stay true to their relationship and cause her to lose trust in all men! He traveled a lot and brought pain and suffering into her life....(we’ll stop there...and just say that she had two surgeries to remove all of the "gift" that this man brought).
Hence again, she was determined to "make it work".

Yet, a little voice within her continuously spoke to her about
how unhappy she was. There were even times when she found herself standing in front of the mirror cursing him and his actions or words that he had said to her that day.

However, she was a determined young girl.
She embarrassed the idea that she could make
her relationship work.

But there was always something missing....

It seemed to be more times than she cared to deal with
that the relationship of unconditional love,
and trust were only one sided.

Through the years she had moments here and
there that she would speak to another and enjoy hearing her true self emerge...But with every good moment
there came a negative one!

It finally got to a point where she dreaded his
return home ever day from work.
His abusive attitude, words and actions.

She found herself "broken" - no energy or mental power to go on.

And - Yes...she prayed.....

Then, one day a (what I like to call) messenger from
God walked into her world. He talked to her about
the Power of Thought....he called it
"The Law of Attraction".

Who was this Stranger???

And it was like someone had turned the Power
back on after a "Black Out"!

He spoke about the life we live has been created by us...
and that if we wish it to be different..
We Have the Power to Do So!

See, there is a Universal Law that was put into place by our creator...he said, "This Law attracts like to like...it brings to us exactly what we think about most...
It is a vibration being sent out to the Universe
and it searches out similar vibrations."....

He said, "We all know that God is in control...right!"

That is why he established this Universal laws! It works!
He continued....
"The Law of Cause and Effect works every time!
It is God’s law....
If you are kind to someone...someone will be kind to you...
If you steal from someone...someone somewhere will steal from you...And, if you make bad choices....you will reap what you sow!"

These words - were like the answers to every question she had ever
asked!

Then and right there something changed in her world....

She started to find confidence within herself! She spent days with
this man of so much knowledge and listened carefully to every word
he spoke. She watched him share this knowledge with everyone he
came in contact with....

She asked questions...and he always had the answers...

See, he studied this information for years and years and had become accomplished from all of his own practices of these laws. And his confidence and wisdom were as bright as the sun!!

Then, one day he gave her an index card
with these words written on it,

"I am Whole, Perfect, Strong, Powerful, Loving,
Harmonious & Happy!
I am Wealth, I am Abundance, I am Joy!"

He told her to tape it up where she would see it most...

And every time things got rough...she read the card...
every time that person
she was married to "beat her down"
she read these words out loud...

And from deep inside her came a "feeling"...a power... a kind of
confidence that she had never experienced before.....

And, I bet you would love to know what happened next....

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes...she got out...she took what
little of her pride and escaped....

Now, with all of the Powers of Positivity - she lives her life with her
head held high and her mind full of knowledge that
No One will ever
do that to her again!!
Not someone else..not even herself!!

And Yes, she still reads that little card
whenever something in her life
starts to "rattle" her...
it puts all back in perspective....

I have shared this story before...but I know many who haven’t heard it that really should....

This woman is me.....

And today...and for the rest of my life...

I am called "Success"!

Now - take some time to really think about this...re-read this story
as many times as you wish...

And Know....

We all have this power...we were born with it!!

Thoughts are Things....BUT...

We know through the Law of Attraction that
"Thoughts Are Things"...

But...

Words are "Things" too!!

One of the Greatest lessons ever taught to our children
was that "not only Thoughts are things...but Words are
Things...."

If you were to see someone do something that deserved a
"Good Job" or "pat on the back"...

Do you really think that ONLY thinking "Good Job" is
enough???

(Tell people when you are Grateful!)

There are so many things that you can learn from
The Law of Attraction and "Cause and Effect"
that will make a HUGE difference in your life!

But, no different than our children...once the lesson
is learned....It is Never Forgotten!!

So, whether you are manifesting or just walking through
the moments in your day...

Give with your words...

learning.

The ability to be open to change and to continue
to try and improve oneself and one’s business is
crucial to success, according to Gates. “People
always fear change,” he says. “People feared
electricity when it was invented…there will
always be ignorance, and ignorance leads to fear.”

If you ignore your surroundings and stop asking
questions about how to improve, you will be destined
to failure. In the highly competitive world of computer
technology, where the likes of Google and Apple are
becoming bigger threats to Microsoft, it is not difficult
for Gates to stay on his toes.

Many outsiders attribute Gates’ success simply to his
high level of intelligence. But for Gates, “Smart is an elusive
concept.” Instead, he attributes his success to his desire to
never stop learning. “There’s a certain sharpness, an ability to
absorb new facts; to ask an insightful question; to relate two
domains that may not seem connected at first.”
It is this
curiosity that Gates tries to inspire in his workers, encouraging
them to not only find answers but to ask the right questions.

For Gates, no matter what you spend
your time doing in life, you should never
stop asking questions; never stop learning.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur or a doctor
or a software developer, it is only by increasing
your understanding of the world around you that
you will be able to have a significant impact. This
is why Gates can still exclaim today, “I’m excited
by the possibilities.”
