Celebutante Watch: Mean Cops bust Lindsay Lohan on a Freaky Tuesday

lohan

"If Paris got 23 days for just driving on a suspended license, I hope Lindsay doesn't get the same judge, or she might have to be sent to the gas chamber"..........Michael Nyiri, upon hearing the news of Lindsay's latest arrest.

Poor, poor, Lindsay. She's in trouble again. Coincidentally, the name of the film which keeps getting postponed during her bouts with the law and troubling behavioral stints is "Poor Things". Lindsay, who skyrocketed to fame as a child actress back in 1998 at the age of 12 in the Disney remake of "The Parent Trap", has lately been the subject of quite a few run ins with the law, owing to her "party hardy" attitudes and no holds barred lifestyle.

She turned 21 just this month. Happy Birthday, sweetie. Hope you live to be 22. It wasn't enough that film directors write scathing letters attesting to her spoiled brattiness, or that she crashes her car into the nearest hedge and walks away from the scene. It wasn't enough that she's been in and out of rehab so much that they're probably installing revolving doors on the facility. Her latest escapade involved running down the mother of her personal assistant while wearing her 'ankle bracelet' from the last run in with the law, her car filled with friends, possibly goading her on, and with cocaine in her pocket.
Seriously, if she isn't sent to the gas chamber for this kind of antisocial behavior, I shudder to think of what she's going to get involved in next.

To sum up, she was just released from rehab, and probably grabbed a little bit of cocaine in order to celebrate. I'd like to caution poor LIndsay that back in the day, we rarely rode around with our drugs in the car. Especially cocaine, which gives one a false sense of superiority as it is. Leave the drugs at home. After the cops catch you for allegedly trying to run over your ex assistant's mom, they'll probably sniff out the coke. And of course they did.

Her personal assistant had just quit, and Lindsay was driving around a parking lot with two friends in her SUV chasing down the mother of her ex assistant. It must have been quite humorous. I can hardly wait for the reality show. Remember, Selena's ex fan club president killed the singer, so Lindsay should be more careful when dealing with her employees.

Lindsay Lohan was so cute when she was young. Of course, so were Danny Bonaduce and Mackenzie Phillips. Haley Mills and Annette Funicello would never have caused any trouble for Disney. Annette didn't even wear bikinis in her beach party movies so as not to upset "Daddy Walt". But Walt has been dead for years, and both Lindsay and present ex child star and mousketeer Britney Spears have had their share of troubling times. Must be a bitch to be a celebutante in the 21st century.

I can't help but remember that both Michael Jackson, who was acquitted of child molestation charges, and Robert Blake, who was acquitted of murder, were both child stars, albeit a long long long time ago. Paris Hilton went to jail (for 23 days, and without special treatment, or so Sheriff Baca claims) so in light of the fact that Lindsay must be on her third strike by now, I hope she isn't lost in the prison system for most of her upcoming budding career. (If she isn't gassed)

She should have "just said no". But then, when is a party girl in L.A. ever going to forego the party?  "Never" is the answer to that question.

Lindsay gave the following statement about the drugs found in her pocket and the chase in the parking lot of the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. "I am innocent... did not do drugs they're not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy."

I wonder if the ankle bracelet was just too tight. Or else this is just a publicity ploy for her latest film. "I Know Who Killed Me", which opens this weekend.

Seriously, young celebrities are role models for millions of youngsters. I know the teenaged years are angst filled and bothersome, but these "poor little rich girls" (the title of a Shirley Temple movie, she's an ex child star these gals should be emulating) are spoiled lousy rotten. Some troubled child stars (Drew Barrymore comes to mind) eventually outgrew their shenanigans. But there seems to be an alarming amount of recent young actresses getting in trouble, and I hate to think about what this does to their fanbase. Miley Cyrus, are you listening? Stay sweet and, if not entirely innocent, at least remain law abiding. Don't break our achy hearts, if you know what I mean. My favorite young celebrity of the moment isn't in the news that much, possibly owing to the fact that she doesn't get in trouble. Mandy Moore is responsible, goes to church, and loves her family. She's a great role model. Lindsay might just be too far gone. (The gas chamber is no longer used in the State of California. Lethal injection was approved in 1993 for capital punishment in the state. But the word "gassed" is funnier. Also, the image above is a very quick composite I made this morning. MFN) (Latest News about Lindsay: HERE. )

I don't get it!  These children seem to have everything and are throwing it all away.   Maybe they should just put all of the spoiled brats in one house, make them do their own laundry, cook, clean...   'Celebutante' - what a concept!!!

It is sad that some of these girls can't get there life straight. And why do they need to drive? Can't they afford someone to drive them? Off to the gas chamber Lindsay goes... she'll probably like it. Oh, and I like Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff also, some child stars seem to be able to lead normal lives.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs, Tricia

That gave me a couple chuckles too. Have you heard Nicole ( Paris's BFF) is pregnant and weighs like two pounds. And didn't she drive down a one way street the wrong way drunk? I do have to disagree with you on one point Danny B. WAS NEVER CUTE. Of all the partridges he was the ugliest. I blame the mom for Lindays problems. She partied with the girl when she was like 15. It looks like shes following in the dads footsteps, even though she hates him.

i think if you live fast as she is doing you will also die young which seems to be on the road she's taking. i think she's even denser than paris was... as she is actually denying the things she did (i'm guessing she did wasn't there ya know).

Lohan was always so cute and a bit too precocious to have any chance of staying safe and drug-free.
No babies in the too foreseeable future. I'm not pregnant, but there's always that chance, and it's not something I fear, just not something I'm really hoping for yet. It's good to assess ourselves, though, Steve and I. It's nice to know that if we were expecting, we'd be ready for it. Or something like that. Yeehaw to road trips!

I can't help but like Lindsay. I hope she gets the help she needs. Rehab must not be working for her for some reason...maybe a little trouble with the law (like short jail time like Paris) will shock her straight. I hope so.

And I love Miley Cyrus, but I'm a little worried that the tight leash her parents keep on her will lead her to wanting to break it in the years to come...

well said.. i am a teenager, and i can honestly say i have never looked up to or wanted to be like lindsay or any of those other "teen stars".  they just reinforce the fact that i would NEVER want to be famous.  it seems to screw lifes up.

Mmmm, Mike, I almost got a bit stuck with the picture and failed to read the rest of your blog entry. Shows you some wisdom in the idea: A Picture is worth a thousand words. Although I heard about Paris I must confess that I do not know Lindsay. It seems to me that the legal system in most countries is not a matter of right or wrong but rather what level of lawyers you can afford. The same laws applies to all people - rich and poor but the rich can afford to bend the truth into the loop holes provided by the law.

I'm with Judge Judy. These precious little cupcakes need to receive sentences of enough time that it Hurts them; something lots longer than a Hollywood minute.

Lindsay who? What, did she star in that movie, uhhhh... something about something?

Ha ha... really, I don't follow these things. It's yet another child star who got too rich, too fast and had no direction in life except to be a star. And kids who look to her (or any of these spoiled child celeBRATies) as a roll model most likely didn't have a decent roll model at home. I don't wish her any ill will, as she also most likely didn't have a decent roll model as she was growing up. On the other hand, if she's going to be a menace to society, then she should be treated as such. But she'll probably get a highly publicized slap on the wrist and go back to the same old routine. After all, she's got a boat load of money!

Anyway, ryc - I do it for a living. I have a handful of really great clients who keep me very busy, and I love my job. If I owned a home I would no doubt be like your dad, assuming I had the time.

It's horribly sad really...I don't even know what to say without becoming offensive about the matter.

RYC: I've visited your blog before and it's always been an interesting read. Thank you for reading mine. I don't get more visitors, perhaps I'm just not that interesting and that's all well and good. I have a few readers and that's enough for me. I shall subscribe.

I used to like her, and it was fun for my daughter and I to watch her movies.  I really thought that, just maybe, she would avoid some of the awful behaviour of teen stars, but it seems she is among the worst of them.  If I wasn't so disgusted, I could almost be sorry for her.  I wonder, what is it about her life that is so awful that she has to escape from it at every opportunity?

By the way, I loved the "Floral Dreams" video, and gave it a well-deserved 5 stars!

It's such a shame, b/c I actually find Lindsay Lohan to be a talented actress-- she has some great potential (her role in Bobby comes to mind). I just wish she could get her head on straight, otherwise she's sure to OD one of the days and waste it all.

I guess because of all these reported shenanigans, this topic of young-stars-as-role-models has been up a lot lately. I think we tend to forget that these girls are really just kids-- Lindsay's barely 21. I knew a LOT of 21 yr olds that did some pretty stupid stuff at that age. I read an interview with Hillary Duff the other day that made her seem like a positive imbecile.. then I remembered she's 19 yrs old, and her immature responses didn't seem so odd anymore. We expect these girls to act like adults, when really they're just playing out their partying years, exacerbated by richness and higher availability of trouble, and by the fact that every move is recorded and shouted from the mountaintops.

If its not lindsay doing something crazy, its britney. really i am scared to see what the "stars" will be doing when my kids are old enough. they still idolize dora and thomas the train, so i am safe for now. and someone made the comment that we fascinated with the celebs, but i find it more of a omg she did what kinda thing. i just hope she gets some help before she ends up completely wrecking her life. or losing it.
