WOW! It's been awhile. Things are....stressful. Work just keeps coming in right now...thankfully. I'm actually on day 18 out of 20 in this run of work. But, I was up for a full-time position on the Blue Man lighting crew, with full support from all of the other full time lighting employees. The Master Electrician, though, dragged his feet. In the meantime, there is a guy who was hired under the video department, who was forced to get lighting work, since there wasn't enough for him to do under video. He was told, finally, to make a decision about which department he wanted to go full-time in. He chose lighting. He has never even TOUCHED a lighting consul and has minimal knowledge of the basics of lighting. In other words, I lost a full time job to someone who's completely unqualified. NOW he's pulling attitude with me. My friends and mom all have different ideas as to why this has happened. No one knows for sure, though. Whatever the reason, it's really fishy and just...not cool. I'm just going to go with the flow...and try not to be too pissed. Besides that , things are boring. Broke up with Sean, AGAIN, and we're friends again. Seems to be our typical cycle. Hope all is well with you all.

Happy 4th! It's been awhile, so I figured I should post something. All is well. I'm keeping busy. Blue Man is going onto a 14 show/week schedule for the next 2 months, so, between my 2 jobs, I'll be working 5 and 6 days per week (alternating) and at least 41 hours/week. As of mid-August, there's a 6 day/week magic show going in over at my casino job, which means I likely will be offered full-time there, which I'll take. My guy and I are together, and going strong. We're seeing ALOT of movies...going out to eat ALOT. Just having a good time. I've lost 25 pounds and am feeling great! So, how are you all?

I'm watching the Tony Awards and one thing to say... Julie Taymor did one HECK of a job with the Lion King!!! I'd love to see that show!

Y'know... one of the earliest concepts I can remember ever learning was the golden rule... Do unto other as you would have done unto you. Otherwise known as, put yourself in the other person's shoes. Why is it that most people, nowadays, seem to have issues with this concept?
