| | We had a nice wedding on Saturday. The ceremony was at Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg. This church was probably the largest newer church that we have been in. We were in the smaller chapel, which seats 350. There was a gymnasium and 2 coffee bars. It was a really nice place. The lighting and the audio equipment was superb (which is of course a plus for us!). Katie and Derek were just a great couple. They were smiling, kissing, whispering to each other, and very much in love..........that always makes for great video footage! The reception was at the Scottish Rite........another beautiful venue with so much history. Each table had it's own cake for the centerpiece. We worked with Jeremy and Heather Geib from Geib Photography. Brandon and I actually shot their wedding a couple of years ago in Bloomington. It was great to see them and catch up with them again. They now have a baby and they are all doing well. We also worked with DJ Reb Porter from the Indiana Pacers (and he also does traffic on a few local radio stations around Indy). Saturday was the first time that I've seen a DJ at a wedding be asked for his autograph! We had a great party......lots of dancing and fun (which makes for a great video for the couple)!
We had a late night on Saturday (I think we got home a little after midnight), and we were just super tired and lazy yesterday! We laid on the couch watching TV (or should I say passing the time by watching nothing on TV........there's never anything good on the TV on the days we just want to be lazy!). It was nice to just relax all day doing nothing. So, today we are working........Brandon is editing and I'll probably start scanning pictures for a photo montage for one of our couples. It's a rainy day outside, so it's probably a good day to be inside working. |
