The 100 finalists in the 42nd annual Pillsbury Bake-Off are now available. Pillsbury wants us to try the recipes and vote in America's Favorite Recipe Sweepstakes.
I don't know if I'll vote, but it does say you can win a million
dollars. I could use a million dollars, couldn't you?
Mainly, I'm just excited about checking out the recipes because some of
my favorite recipes have come from the Pillsbury Bake-Off
cookbooks. I don't usually follow the recipes exactly, but they
certainly give me lots of ideas and a place to start. I am always
amazed at what these finalists come up with. I'm good at
modifying recipes and combining a couple recipes into one, but I've
never come up with a recipe of my very own.
Here's one of my favorite recipes adapted from the Pillsbury Bake-Off cookbook: African Sweet Potato and Black Bean Burritoes These are so good!

Hi I am James Rogers White Jr and I submitted a recipe for a tasty snack pie and my e-mail address at the time (02/28/2007) was jwhitejr@sbcglobal.net
However my new e-mail is jamesrwhite1@yahoo.com The 43rd bakeoff was to have contacted me via phone 317 985-1380 and I since lost my home computer ( Hard Drive Crash) and was unable to submit my tasty pies.
Am I too late to try again ,
Thank You and God Bless!
PS, My tasty snack pies made from Pillsbury refrigerated Pie Crust, Domino Sugar or Baker's Splenda and Oats And Butterscotch morsels were a tasty delight at my graduation in May 2006. The Best part is the value versus the cost of baking them.
Thank You and God Bless!
