I felt like making pie yesterday so I looked up this recipe I had made at least once before. I was just going to link to the recipe, but it doesn't look like this particular recipe is available on the
Ocean Spray website, though they do have plenty of other promising recipes. I do love cranberries, so I'm sure to visit this site again.
Here's the recipe for the pie I made:

Cranberry Apple Pie
- 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (I didn't peel)
- 1 16-ounce can Ocean Spray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmet
- Pie crust for a 9-inch 2-crust pie
Combine apples and cranberry sauce in a large mixing bowl. Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a separate mixing bowl; add to apple mixture, mixing well.
Turn into a pastry-lined pan. Cover with top crust; crimp edges. Cut slits in top crust. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until crust is golden brown and filling bubbles. Makes 1 9-inch pie.
And, of course, it must be served with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream!

No one in my house likes the whole berry cranberry sauce with their turkey (except me)- so I had to find something to do with mine, too. They seem to like it in pie.
