i am so about to close my hotmail accounts. all of them!  for the last week i've been getting locked out of my hotmail account between 5-8 times EVERY DAY!  hotmail sends me an automated email (so i cant reply) telling me that they've frozen my account for security purposes to make sure i'm a human.  that's right...hotmail wants to ensure that i'm human.  they give me a link to follow that will test whether or not i'm human and if i pass the test, they unfreeze my account.  first, the link is broken.  so i have to manually go to hotmail.  second, apparently, you can test for human-ness by holding up a picture with a bunch of squiggles and asking your test-ee to identify the letters in the chaos.  third, i am not a very good human because it's taken me up to 4 tries to get the letters right.

all that said, i am VERY SERIOUSLY considering closing my hotmail accounts.  i've searched the boards and cant find any mention of others having this problem.  i guess hotmail has a vendetta against me for all these years of my faithful use of their system.  all those times i didnt cause them problems, bog down their tech guys with stupid questions about forgotten passwords or sending emails.  yep, i can see why they'd be upset with me.

and yes, i tried contacting hotmail support.  it's funny, but that link was broken, too!  argggg!!!
