| | MY DOG WATCHES TV
last night derrick and i were eating our "dinner" in the living
room. the dog, of course, was on the floor at our feet. we
had taken her to the office yesterday and to the contact table during
the afternoon, so she was completely exhausted. as soon as we all
settled on the couch, she settled on the floor and fell asleep.
until...the commercial came on with dogs and their toys. she
heard the squeak of the dog toy in the commercial, jumped up from her
sleep and stared at the tv in amazement/confusion.
then, she got up and walked around the house collecting all her toys
trying to figure out which one had escaped and made that noise.
once they were all accounted for, she sat back down in the middle of
her toys and stared at the tv again. i guess seeing that all was
well with her captives, she came back to our feet and laid down.
it was awesome!
