| | HOW I KNOW I AM ALIVE
i had this thought today: even though i'm hurting right now, i'm
excited about it because it means that i'm alive. some people go
through life and never live. i know i'm alive, really alive,
because i'm hurting. i'm hurting because i care. and i care
because i'm alive, because i'm really living - loving people, being
loved, loving God, being loved by God. does this make any
sense? nick said one time, "i'd rather live in faith and get a
little wet sometimes (referencing peter getting out of the boat) than
to live a life without faith at all." and i guess on the same
line of thinking: i'd rather live life caring about people and
get hurt occasionally than to live all by myself forever.
NOTE: all of this might have come from listening to the leann womack song i hope you dance on the way to work today. just a guess...
