O'Hurley's Return: Skin Deep\Without A Trace (The O'hurleys)
By Nora Roberts
see relatedSabado
We had pizza tonight. Steven's got friends over, and they're playing their game in the kitchen. Me and the boys are in the living room, Alex is video gaming it, Eli's in bed, Isaac's rolling around the living room floor, and Thomas is doing random stuff. He just said, I made a Cup Pyramid! out of Cups! (As if you could have a cup pyramid made of something OTHER than cups)
I finished the Dark Hunter book I started last night and am really peeved not to have the next one ready to read. It's got two characters I'm really looking forward to. I guess I'll settle for another Nora Roberts this evening instead.
I ran into Judy's husband Jim at the Kroger on the opposite side of town today. It's a much more awesome Kroger than the one closest to me. I went to that one because I happened to be feeding Elizabeth's cats while she's out of town, and she doesn't live far from the awesome Kroger. What's crazier is that Judi and Jim live even farther from this Kroger than I do. I asked him why he was all the way over here and he said, "It's the only place that carries organic half and half" Jim is real dedicated to his healthy foods! I love it when I run into him in town, he's one of the friendliest people ever born. I truly believe that. I run into him everywhere, walmart, target, and now Kroger. We must be on the same shopping schedule or something.
I hope everyone has a good Sunday tomorrow!

Kiss of the Night (Dark-Hunter, Book 5)
By Sherrilyn Kenyon
see relatedI'm making beef stew today. Why, because I had carrots, beef, half an onion, and some potatoes I needed to use before they went bad. I also had half a package of frozen chopped bell peppers, and a packet of beef stew seasoning mix. It was practically fate for me to make it. It's not the usual way I make it, but it smells good and hopefully it will taste good too.
Went to the grocery store this morning. I had Tom, Eli and Isaac. Isaac has to sit in the basket seat now, since he's not in the infant carrier anymore. I buckle him in so he doesn't fall over, but the seatbelt leans him back a little. so he like, slides down and rides at an odd angle. I kept scooting him upright but it was a losing battle. Eli sat in the basket part with the groceries. That's always an exciting and risky little game. Just as we have gotten everything on the list, Thomas says, "I have to go to the bathroom". Of course. I'm glad I haven't checked out because I can't bring myself to leave a grocery cart of paid for items outside the front bathroom. It's like an invitation to steal it. At the back bathroom, at least if someone takes stuff out of my cart, I'll be annoyed at the most. I won't have paid for it already. So we bathroomed, all of us in the big stall. Thomas kept pointing out how he's a boy and I took him into the girls bathroom. I said, yes, but you're only four and you're not going alone into the boys bathroom, buddy! I wanted to say, "There are sickos out there!" but I knew if I did he'd be calling peole sickos before I knew it. He doesn't miss a trick!

I went to Book Traders today. Do you know what that is? It's a used bookstore. I took in some books to trade, and left the place with 4 almost brand new books for $10. They have lots of the books in the series I'm currently reading. I got the next 3 in a row. And a Nora Roberts.
We had breakfast for supper tonight. Bacon and eggs, and everyone wanted their egg fried with a runny yolk. It's not often this many people, small children included can agree on how they want their food. But we all did.

Faefever (Fever, Book 3)
By Karen Marie Moning
see relatedYesterday I read this, the 3rd book in a series by Karen marie moning. I have to say, it was suspenseful, I could hardly put it down even when I had to go to the bathroom, lol. And it ended in THE MOST FRUSTRATING PLACE EVER! Does that ever happen to you? I mean, When does the next book come out? I can't STAND where it has stopped. UGH. I'm annoyed and frustrated just thinking about it. STOP thinking about it, I keep saying to myself, and it doesn't work.
I have a new dryer now. Dryers are one of those things we take for granted until we don't have one. I'm so happy now. I'm doing laundry like a madwoman today. I also need desperately to mop, I'll do that when Eli takes his nap. It's too hard for him to stay off the wet kitchen floor.
I wish I had something cool and funny to say here, but I don't.
A friend of mine got married in Pensacola back at the end of August. They had a reception on Petit Jean mountain yesterday, and I did not go. I was waiting for the dryer to be delivered. By the time they got here and done, I could still have made it probably, but it rained yesterday and it would have just been me, Eli and Isaac. I chose not to go. I felt slightly bad about that because I had told the friend I was going to try to make it. But when it came time to get ready and go, I just didn't want to make the trip with the little ones.
