  • Leo Laporte "The Tech Guy"

    Leo Laporte podcast_10

I am turning into a Geek Wanna-Be. I don't know the lingo that well (my husband does) and I don't know how to talk tech. But I enjoy watching tech shows (thanks to my hubby).  One person I enjoy listening to and watching is Leo Laporte "The Tech Guy". Leo has a podcast & radio show and now a live show on www.stickam.com. Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat & Sun.   On the Live show you get to see the behind the scene workings of Leo. It is interesting and fun to watch. He prepare for his shows (podcasts & radio) "live". Leo has several of them too. My favorite is "TWIT" which mean This Week In Tech, Net @ Nite, The Giz Wiz, Munchcast and Leo Laporte "The Tech Guy". His other shows are Mac Break Weekly, Window Weekly, Security Now, Jumping Monkey, Roz Row, This Week In Law, Radio Leo, Floss Weekly, The Laporte Report and Future in Blotech. Here is the url to one of Leo's website http://www.twit.tv/ttg.  If you like Leo's shows and you want to make contributions to his podcast go to his website. You can pay thru Pay Pal. This man is so funny and so animated. The guy can sound like someone from the hood in one minute and in the next someone british. I think he miss his calling being a cartoon character on Cartoon Network, Nick or Disney. Leo is so intelligent, funny and clever and he appears to have a heart of gold.  He loves talking tech and if you call and ask a question and you have a website, he'll let you plug it.  Leo like helping people in the biz.

If you have tech questions or problems (pc, camera, cell phones, HDTV, etc.) go by and Ask Leo!  Leo's twitter url is www.twitter.com/leolaporte and phone# is 1-88-88-ASK LEO. He'll love to here from you. Other website of Leo Laporte are leoville.com, twit.tv, techguylabs.com.

I'm pretty sure you will not be bored. If you like Tech or a Geek Wanna-Be like me

    June Brides

Wedding_Cake_Candles_-_Close_Up    There are 2 wedding shows that I watch on WE channel. One is call Bridezilla where the Bride becomes a monster. Yelling & Screaming at family, friends & the groom. I laugh when I watch this show because it all about becoming a B*tch for 15 minutes of fame. Hopefully when they look back and see how they treated these people. The Brides will want to apologize again & again. Now the Platinum Wedding is my favorite. It is the kind of wedding you wish you could have it you had unlimited money. I saw one where the bride spent 1/2 million dollars on her wedding. Daddy who is rich paid for it. Some of you might say I think that is ridiculous spending all that money on a wedding. But be honest if you had the money you would spend it on the wedding of your dreams. I even said it myself some of these brides spend all this money and they'll probably be divorce in a year. Look at Celebrity Weddings that didn't last that cost a fortune.  But then I look at the people they hired for these lavious weddings. These people need the work to feed their family and pay their bills so why not cater to the rich every needs. If you haven't seen these shows check them out on WE on Sundays.

  • Genealogy

I've seen a documentry about genes that may shock some people. You may be surprise that those of us that think we are pure as the driven snow. May not be as pure as you think. Do a background check on your families, mothers & fathers. You may or may not like what you find. You may find that you not only have Dutch but, Spanish, Sioux, Asian and Irish mix in your family tree. I've seen a picture of my maternal great-grandmother who was part Cherokee. I met an indian gentleman who look at me and said you have indian blood in your family because of your cheek bone structure.  I never told him I did, he saw it just by looking at me. My mother's family name comes from England & my father's name comes from Scotland. There is even a "Crest" for my mother's name. Not that I'm claiming this family crest. I'll have to keep searching my genealogy to find that out. But the point I'm trying to make is that I'm suppose to be an African American, but my family may have come from one of the islands like Haiti, Jamaica or Bahamas. Just because the color of my skin is dark doesn't mean my ancestors came from Africa.

When Jesus Christ return he is not going to judge us by the color of our skin. He'll be looking at our hearts. Why can't we all be more like him.

    Obama

Obama beat Clinton the other day. Some people say they will not vote for him. Is it because he is half black & half white. Don't judge the man by the color of his skin. Don't vote for McCain because he is whte. Listen to what they are saying. Obama want to improve our healthcare, bring the soldiers home from Iraq and clean up the enviroment. If you care about these issues. Then think seriously before you cast your vote. McCain is a soldier and he may let those soldiers stay in Iraq. And what about healthcare. Does McCain plan to change it. If you haven't see Director Michael Moore's DVD about healthcare in the world. You need to check it out before you cast your vote. Pray before you cast your vote. Asking God to help you choose the right man for the job. We need change. We need a better President. We had 8 years of terror.
