Well I have been in BK a while and it is time that I ventured out into the city, instead of being cooped up in the office like a burnout rooster waiting for an easy lay.
I work on Soi Mahatai, and I ask the girls what was the best way to get into the city, they say forget the taxi, take the boat. Hmmmm! The Boat, sound like a pretty cool idea. So I took their instructions and went on my way. Do you know the Chao Praya River? Well that is not it. These boats run on the canal system that lead to the main river. I got there and the stink got to me...shit what is in the water...shit!
The boat came, it did not stop, you have to jump to get on. BUgger! I saw women with heels doing it, and I was in my trainers and fear should not stop me. I got on, with the help of one of the girls holding my hands. Fuck I feel like such a tourist. When you get on, there are these canvas strips that you have to hold up to prevent the Dirty water from coming in and please do not open your mouth whilst the boat is moving. You see the canal has got a nick name which is "Acid Water" or "Water that Burns"..ewww!Well that was a week ago and now I jump in and out of the boat like a true Thai, with my heels on as well. But my friends, be warned that when you come, I am going to take you on the boat. Be afraid, be very afraid.
