THE CRANKY ASIAN GIRL DEEP IN THOUGHT: "BEING UGLY (Yes, I'm proud to be Samara)"

I'm not writing to fish for compliments (honestly, though) but after seeing my picture as the Master of Ceremony at Karen New Year, I now accept the fact that I look like Samara from The Ring if you've ever seen that horro movie.  My face was all white with those make-up! I understand why my mom calls me "tha-yell-ma-lay" or little ghost/samara in Burmese.

But there are benefits of looking like Samara:

1) I can scare stupid people (espeically stupid guys) away with my scary looking face

2) I can make a lot of money as an actress if I choose to go into horror movie industry

3) Because of my scary looking face, I won't get distracted by things like "dating, " "break-up," and stupid stuff like that. I can focus on my studies and keep on making my brain beautiful. What's the point of whining when the studyings at school will make me ugly anyway?

Oh Heck! I love being Samara anyway! (the definition of beauty and ugliness is debatable)
