    Transformers

Well... I enjoy writing... And I seem to do better mentally when I'm in a "Creative Mood." So... I'm going to try and have the bulk of all my future entries like my last one. Something creative-like...

I've also decided to pick up my book again. I most likely will post the beginning of the first chapter soon... I dunno when I'll post it... We'll see... Bug me and it might come sooner...

    Hm...
There was something else I was going to inform y'all of... But I forgot... *shrugs*™ () Oh well...

"Our life is our gift from God - what we do with our life is our gift to God"

    The Straight Path

The rain was coming down in torrents, nearly blinding me - but I had to press on. The path I was following was leading me through deep, and dark, woods. At many points the path split, or was faded, but I always knew which way I should go. The path ran straight and true, and I did not falter. But as I continue, the woods keep getting darker.
I'm tired, and ready to get out of the forest, but all signs indicate that the path stays in them for the entire journey. As I walk, I come upon a side road. It appears to be much easier, broader, and leaving the forest. But upon a closer inspection, I notice that the path leads down into a dark valley full of thorns and thistles. Dismissing the side rout, I continue on.
Not much farther down the path, the path splits into five paths. Two go on the left, and two on the right, but one continues straight and true, identical to the path I have been following. I stop, examining each branch. As I do so, the rain comes down harder.
The path farthest to the left leads to a cave - shelter from the rain. But no, I cannot halt - I must press on. Dismissing the other branches for wrong ones, I take a step down the straight path - despite the darker woods looming before me.

Where does the path end? Where does it go? What dangers lie ahead?
    Time shall tell...

    Love y'all - so much

i really like that. good stuff. everyone can relate to that scenario of trying to keep to the right path, even when you want to get out of the rain... you do have some disagreement in verb tenses though. you start out with past tense, but the rest of is present tense. just thought i'd point that out. =)

haha, it just keeps getting more complicated. Pretty soon there will be a symbol on the keyboard for "shrugs". I wonder what that would look like...

wow, Nice story. I like the depiction of the rain and how you use first person to tell it. It comes across a lot more powerfully when you use first person, at least for this story it does.

Check out the short story, The Most Dangerous Game. I posted a link to it on my site. I think you would really like it.

Check it out and tell me what you think.
