Spring Break
Stormy skies, funnel clouds, and flooding.
Playing basketball on a sunny day.
Running at the track, counting each step I take.
Itching to eat sweets all week.
Not one silent moment.
Giving to charities with nothing in return.
Breaking loose and kicking back on the porch.
Racing my sister to the end of the street.
Excited to go back to school.
Aces, clubs, hearts, playing cards all week long.
Kids Easter Egg hunting all around the world.

Dancing In The Rain
Twirling round and round, plop, plop, raindrops are falling one by one. I'm as wet as can be. Running, laughing, playing, and thinking, thinking about love, grief, and whatever else comes to mind, round and round I go. Tears come to my eyes faster than the rain falls to the ground. Lying there I wonder what I could possibly be crying about. Was I just crying for no reason at all? Or did it just all hit me at once? I can't get up, I don't want to get up. The rain stops, I decided to get up off of the muddy ground. I look around me and see memories flashing through my life, just there, as if they were dancing with me, and then...it all disappeared.

Thunderstorms
Thunder ain't nothin' but God clapping his hands, because he is so proud that his followers are following the right path.
Lightning can be scary, except at night, it lights the sky and looks beautiful, just like you in God's eyes.
Rain is just water, it reminds us of sadness, grief, and sometimes even pain in certain parts of our body. But it also helps us, especially if you're a farmer and is currently in the middle of a drought era.
And best of all, after all of the chaos we think thunderstorms are, a rainbow appears in the sky showing God's love for his people and everyone else.

Ode To The Cross
The Cross,
a valuable item,
what do you think of
when you see it?
love,
crucifiction,
Jesus,
christianity,
or do you think of
pain,
suffering,
just two lines that
crossed each other's
path
you shouldn't
crosses represent
something done a
long, long time ago
The Cross,
there must've been a
million reasons why
I chose to write
about it
meaningful like love,
love at first sight.

Will You Cry For Me?
Will You Cry For Me?
When I scrape my knee?
When blood runs down my leg,
As red as can be?
Will You Cry For Me?
Will You Cry For Me?
When my heart is broken?
When its torn from my chest,
Barely beating?
Will You Cry For ME?
Will You Cry For Me?
When the world is turned upside down?
When peace is no longer here,
And chaos is everywhere?
Will You Cry For Me?
Will You Cry For Me?
When I die?
When i spend eternity with God,
And don't come back down?
Will You Cry For Me?
