  • My weekend

    Keith gets to go to Sweden today to see the girls.  I'm so jealous.  I would of course want to see Ryan and Margaret as well, but the girls change so quickly I miss them bunches.

    Grammy and Pappy are coming to see everyone this weekend thanks for their kind driver, Aunt Nancy.  It will be fun to spend some quality time with them and maybe, just maybe, Aunt Nancy and I can whoop some butt in cards.

    I'm in one of those annoying OCD kinda moods when I have to clean and organize EVERYTHING. It drives Mom crazy.  I wreck everything and throw it all away and then put it where I think it should go.   Oh well, she gets a clean organized house in the end, right?

    I know that several have already mentioned how nuts I am for cooking for Christmas in September, but why not?  I have 65 dozen cookies in cute balls and cut outs in the freezer ready to bake in Dec.

    I guess I'll find something productive to do like maybe fill out my sales tax report and write the state of Arkansas a check.

    I'm so glad I'm not alone! Last month I made a list of all the things I wanted to do before Christmas to make the holiday season easier and included was any goodies I could make and freeze well in advance and to try to get a xmas letter out before February this year. I already have some of our xmas shopping done but we'll see if any of the rest of it happens. Nonetheless, the list alone was enough for Luke to make fun of me for planning for Christmas in August/September. Never hurts to be prepared, right... and what a great feeling when you have all those cookies and stuff ready to go. Speaking of, I'm going to go make some cookies for our Bible study group for tomorrow. Good luck with the early Christmas baking! =)

    I've wanted to create a cap similar in styling to the FBI/DEA caps, but with the word "PRESS" on the front embroidered. Do you have any ideas where a guy can go for something like this?

    I know Mrs. Bucao already asked Tina Carson and her girls to help, (and they said they would), and I'm sure they're willing to do whatever needs to be done.  You could also talk to Ashley Altemeier as I know her mom had said they'd be glad to help.
