| | Saw the Great American Trailer Park Musical at the Hippodrome State Theatre this evening, with my former roommate and his extremely pregnant wife.
Fantastic show; the first ever to be set in Starke, FL-- in Armadillo Acres Mobile Home Community, below the Starke water tower and next to the statue of the Brahma bull. Crackin' fun, with lines like:
"Jeannie, you broke all the knicknacks! A trailer isn't a home without the knicknacks!"
"Honey, you know I can't get to sleep if you don't sing me that sweet old lullabye my mama used to sing: The Devil went down to Georgia, He was lookin' for a soul to steal, He was in a bind, he was way behind, He was willing to make a deal"
"You don't want to mess with Duke after he's been to Sam's Club."
"Hear that thunder, honey? You better make sure you've got extra flashlight batteries and a three-day supply of drinking water."
