my life right now

So i have a new job.  I am teaching night ESL classes.  ESL stands for english as a second language.  I am teaching a group of about 10 mainly hispanics how to read, write, and speak english.  Its my second week on the job and seems to be going pretty well.  It is defenitely a first for me.  So far my students seem to like it though.

I am also taking two classes at southeast missouri state.  They are prerequisites for my masters.  They are going good.

I had a horrible fantasy football draft, but i guess that isn't that important.

Rachel is coming to my house this weekend.  We are celebrating our 3 year anniversary.  Yeah, thats right, 3 years!!!!  We should have a really fun time.  Our relationship is going great and she is such an aweswome girl!

whelp...thats it for now.  ttyl,

bible study

Last night at bible study we went over the story  of the prodigal son.  It amazed me to see the difference that expereincing grace had on each son.   The son that ran off really screwed up but came to a much greater understanding of God's grace.  The one who stayed hom referenced how he had slaved away for his father and never gotten rewarded.  Its interesting becasue we don't have to sin or mess up to come to a fuller understanding of gods grace but it defenitely doesn't hurt either.

For those raised in the church who have never really rebelled it is much harder to understand grace.  But it is better off for them if they learn it while staying close to God and not rebelling.   It just takes more looking for and just realizing that how much we have been forgiven for.

for he who has been forgiven little, loves little.  But he who has been forgiven much, loves much.

so i went fishing today.  It was lots of fun.  I didn't catch anything though.  I  only used lures...no live bait.  Next time i am getting live bait.

The other day I went to walmart and bought a whole  bunch of fishing stuff.  It sounded like so much fun.  The best part of this fishing trip was lifting my head up while lying on the dam just in time to see my lawn chair sink into the water.   I used my fishing pole to snag it and reel it back in.  it was wet so i couldn't sit on it anymore.  That was fine though.   My favorite part of the day was just lying on the back of the dam.  It was a nice cloudy day with a breeze.  Next time i need people to with me.

today is going pretty good but i am tired.

other stuff.

I just found out they were making the next narnia movie.  I guess i missed that anouncement.  I guess they are going to make all 7 of them which makes me pretty excited.  The silver chair is by far my favorite.  I used to watch the old bbc movies growing up ALL the time.

If anybody sees me in i am legend let me know... In the scene underneath the brooklyn bridge.  I probably won't go see it....wait for dvd.

I am going to try and go see enchanted though.  It looks cool.
