the G8 summit is coming up. allegedly theres gonna be marches and probably riots and crazy things like that. so the chances that i'd get to come to an internet cafe and write all about my life here are slim to none. so this is the last you'll hear of me before the anarchy subsides. lol.

today i started working at the theatre. i met some great people. my hands currently smell of tea because i got handed the crappy task of trying to tea stain (not teabag...though everyone giggled about that) 4 posters for one of the shows here. the one i'm working on right now is really stark and very brecht-ian. i dont know if i like it. but whatever. it reminds me of all those awful plays i had to read in hornby's class by stuffy famous russian writers. but its not nearly that bad. its italian and set in scotland. so. there ya go.

tomorrow we're going to glasgow to steal props from another theatre. (dont be jealous blake). so that'll be a nice car trip. but then i think everything is closing down for a few days cuz of the summit and the liveaid concert and all that stuff. and we'll start up again tomorrow. i'm learning to do more of the stage managing sort of stuff. its fun. not too terribly exciting yet cuz rehearsals just started for the shows. so its a bit slow right now but will soon speed up.

i'm hooked on big brother. absolutely hooked. i dont know if you guys get to watch it but it is way better than real world.

it rained for the first time in a week today. my hair is fluffy  and curly. its funny...not.

the other day i went to this other part of town. i found a great retro thrift store. i bought a hat. i got papa johns for lunch. let me tell you. papa johns in britian rules. cuz they have potato wedges and garlic bread and old drunk guys in the middle of the day. lol. way better than america.

ummmmm.......thats about it right now. i'll write more when i've got more time. i'm gonna try to sneak onto the office computer in our stage managers office to maybe check mail for free. that'd be great. but otherwise, cheers.
