happy hump day to you and yours.

so its wednesday and what have we learned from the first half of the first week of school? 

-7am is a dark, unholy hour.
-it IS possible that i might be on campus for 14 hours a day.....
-it is likely that if someone is talking for a long period of time, my eyes will droop and i will try to focus them and end up looking cross-eyed at a professor.
-even more of the campus is demolished behind big chainlinked fences.
-julius caesar will bribe you with cupcakes.
-once anybody even mentions some 90's tv show, it is a free-for-all conversation covering all manner of cartoons and shows across nickelodeon, the disney channel and kpbs.
-i hate rainchecking necessary conversations.
-i dont know when i will find time to rehearse my scenes for directing class....let alone coordinate schedules with my actors. but first i need a scene. and actors. then we'll see.
-never be in the slightest late to a class in which you are to discuss a book that talks about how bad it is to be late...
-the shins will brighten your day considerably.
-stanislavski ain't so bad.
-winter quarter is going to be a bitch.

aside from educational insanity....i'm redying my hairs tomorrow. how exciting. maybe my hair will ALL be red this time...(the brown ones are screaming infidelities that sound like "viva la resistance!!")

and speaking of screaming infidelities...guess who is playing at MY school on tuesday?....none other than DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL. and guess who has rehearsal? oh right. me. eff. 

i always miss the good concerts. i've missed thrice, jimmy eat world, tegan and sara, the walkmen, and busta rhymes....i mean....and now dashboard. ::sigh:: will you sing dashboard to me so i can just pretend? lol. 

ANYWAY......i have an acting exercise to prepare and space to read about. oh yeah, and sleep to sleep. dreams to dream. i dreamed a dream in time gone by that hope was high and life worth living.......er. les miserables. gotta love it.
