there is a constant in my life that is like a nasty fraction that keeps cutting me down into small pieces. why does this, this ugly little decimal have to be my "normal"? sabotage, that's what it is. i always feel i am lacking something, at some point, that i'm never enough of what you want or need. and at particularly low points, like now, i try to fill myself up with delicate sadness or brazen sarcasm or some other two-dimensional emotion. i just never understand what makes me so forgetable.

is it even possible to be just right?
