  • Singapore

I arrived safely in Singapore yesterday afternoon. Moira picked me up from the airport and helped me settle into the old wing at the guest house. It's lovely! I love how green it is over here. It's been raining on and off, so I haven't yet encountered the infamous heat. Dot and Doug took me to Plaza Singapura on Orchard Road to have dinner and shop at Carrefour last night. I bought adaptors. Noticed that imported goods are expensive. Uploaded some pictures onto fb. I fell asleep as soon as I got back home and am officially over jetlag. :)

I'll attend service at two different churches today. I may go take a look at the house, but if not, I plan to go running at the botanical garden. How was fellowship? How did intercession for the Taiwan election go? I don't have regular internet or phone access yet. Work starts tomorrow. Hmm, please pray that I can get over the shyness of being in a new environment, meeting with new people.
