Yet again Joesph the Grandmaster raises a good point (refer to comment in April 13 entry).

Are you the person you think you are if nobody is there to tell you who you are? Are you discomforted by this question?

It's ok to be uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable is good. The quickest way to make yourself uncomfortable is to travel alone. Perhaps there is a high correlation between travelling alone and milking the rock (re. April 13 entry). It takes courage to change your life. Sometimes, doing so, you feel all alone in the world. You can get used to this scary feeling by travelling alone, being by yourself for extended periods of time, chatting with strangers, having to get yourself from one city to another. You become accustomed to it. Finally, the fear of being alone will no longer stop you from doing what you want to do.
