Thank you Jesus

Earlier in  the year I had a major choice to make.  Should I stay in Irving with my cute sixth graders but 30 minute commute, or should I teach 9th graders with an 8 minute commute.  It was a decision I definitely needed God's guidance.  One night the 9th grade campus Principal called and told me I had the job over 10 other people.  Wow.  What favor from the Lord.  I have no idea how I did it, but I accepted the job.  And I am so glad I did.

While working at my new school, (how is it I have already started working and I'm not even doing cheerleading?) I have met the most amazing staff.  I have been invited to one teachers house twice and gotten fed.  :)  Yum Yum!  I absolutely love my counselor and may have found a golfing buddy.

Tonight, my husband (tee hee) and I went out to eat with my parents and brother's family.  It is amazing to just sit with loved ones and feel so content.  I am beyond happy with my life.  I have everything I could ever want or need.  I can say without a doubt in my mind, my life is picture perfect!  And I give all the glory to God!

Here comes the bride

I can't believe I am married!  It is so much fun!  I love cleaning and cooking and just lounging with my honey.  I wish I knew more easy recipes though.  It's been three weeks and I'm out.  :)

We live in a tiny apartment until we can save enough money for a house.  We have 700 in Bed Bath and Beyond gift certificates, but we have no place to put all the stuff.  Yikes.

My wedding went off without a hitch.  Everyone told me that I shouldn't expect it to go perfect and something will go wrong.  Nope.  I loooved it.  Tanya took the best pictures for me with my camera.  One thing did go wrong on the honeymoon though.  The camera erased all my picutres.  I cried and cried.  Luckily geek squad extracted them.  Here is my favorite picture.  I don't know what my pastor said, but my guess is, "you having kids?"

Rainbows

RANDOM THOUGHTS

1. I am getting married in 47 days!!!  YEHAWWW!

2.  Teaching is fun and rewarding.  Scary and punishing.

3.  8th graders think it is ok to hit on a teacher.

4.  My father-in-laws name is Butch

5.  My worst students in first period told my fiance' I am cool.  I seriously scold them ten times or more a day.  Goes to show you kids yearn for discipline.

6.  When I have a post with no comments I delete it or wait until I get a comment before I post again.  Does that make me insecure?

7.  I love the teachers at my school.

8.  I can't wait until I have a place of my own.

9.  I miss having a lot of friends.  Like can get lonely around here.

Let it snow Let it snow Let it snow.

It has snowed two days in a row now!  I love it!  Ok so it isn't sticking and yesterday it lasted maybe five minutes, but still!  I love it!

I have been sick the last two days and miss being well.  I have done nothing and feel like such a bum.  Oh well.

Wedding planning is great!  I have my ceremony, reception, dress, invitations, and the world's greatest groom!  Seriously!  I love Jason so much!  He has been the most wonderful partner.  I gave him his homework and when he booked the hotel, honeymoon, and tux he glowed at me, "I did all my homework!"  It was sooo cute.  He takes his job seriously.  All that is left is a photographer.  Man they are expensive!

I started a new bible study called a Woman of Excellence.  I am going with my mom and sister.  I love bonding!  Makes me feel so warm and tingly inside.

www.christinaandjason.com

I got a website for my wedding.  Check it out.  www.christinaandjason.com  Sign the guest book!

I am excited because I know where I am going to have the wedding and reception now.  My pastor told us that we are going to get to have it at our church for free!  My favorite.  :)  We also get a good deal at the reception site.  Oh I love how easy the wedding planning is going.

Grand traditions The Reception Site.

I also have my cake, invitations, dress, and bridesmaids picked out.  I am very excited.  Woo hoo.

June 2, 2007 will be the happiest day!  I can't wait! I love Jason!
