  • on moving to Minnesota

Well, the day is fast approaching for me to hit the road for Minnesota (and, ultimately, Seattle) and say goodbye to New Jersey. As you can see by the state of my desk there's still much to be taken care of before this can happen. Not only do I still need to pack, but I have a sermon to share on Sunday, as well as a bunch of furniture (including that desk!) that I'd like to at least have claimants for before I go. Thankfully, my parents are coming on Saturday night to help with the drive to Minnesota (which begins on Monday), yet having them here is, in a way, extra work for me in an already stressful time.

But I am thankful, and I'll probably do another post with pics relating that. In the meantime, here's what the move is going to look like:

Saturday night: Parents arrive. Pick them up at LGA and settle them down for the night at a hotel near my place.

Sunday: Pick up parents, preach at Praise. Grab dinner with my two NJ pastors. Finishing packing.

Monday: Pick up 2nd cargomobile from PA. Load up, hit the road by noon at the latest. Probably drive to Ohio and find a place to sleep.

Tuesday: Hit the road early, lunch in Chicago, dinner somewhere in Wisconsin. Arrive in Minnesota before it gets too late.

Wednesday: Drop off rented cargomobile at the Minneapolis airport. Finalize details for my high school's 10 year reunion (pick up door prizes, etc).

Friday: Roseville Area High School's 10 Year Reunion!
